SCL Product Overview

SCL encapsulates components, splices, and terminations where moisture resistance and mechanical protection are required. The encapsulant melts and flows to fill surface irregularities of the substrate. Whilst still hot, the tubing can be blocked to form a wire breakout.

Raychem heat shrinkable products (now owned by TE Connectivity) are world renowned as the market leading brand.  These products are the standard bearer and offer the best performing and highest quality product available.  The SCL 3:1 adhesive lined product is supplied with the optimum amount of internal adhesive to ensure that the product encapsulates the substrate.  There are many alternative and inferior products available, but none of these have the established track record of performance.
