PPS-ZSW

Description

PPS-ZSW consists of a highly flexible over lapping tinned copper shielding mesh contained within a heavy duty woven polyester wrap that is opened and closed using the built-in zip. Designed primarily to provide electro-magnetic interference (EMI) shielding, the construction of the product also allows for increased mechanical protection, noise and vibration dampening and excellent abrasion resistance.

The zipped installation allows the product to be installed after the wires have been terminated and permits ongoing maintenance and repairs, as the product can be removed and re-installed as required.

This product is supplied with a built-in grounding strap.

Applications

High temperature applications where there is a requirement for tough and durable protection of wires, wire harnesses, cable assemblies, flat ribbon cables, tubes and hoses.  The material is ideal for use in the aerospace, automotive and military markets, but also has many other potential high-tech applications.
