Description
HFT5000 is designed primarily to provide mechanical protection for components such as rubber hoses, plastic pipes, and harness wiring bundles. Also suitable for other applications, such as noise and rattle suppression. The woven construction makes HFT5000 extremely flexible and resistant to trapping water heat and humidity. It provides outstanding chafing and cutting protection, even at high temperatures.
Applications
Most commonly used in automotive applications where flexibility, and abrasion resistance over a wide range of temperatures is required. The 2:1 shrink ratio and highly flexible fabric construction allows for easy compliant installation. This halogen free woven fabric grips tightly to a substrate without additional fixing. It can also be easily cut with standard industrial cutting equipment.
