Description
PPS-CFB braided sleeving is constructed from a carbon fiber yarn that allows it to operate at extreme temperatures from -269ºC up to 650ºC. Along with the outstanding thermal resistance qualities, the product provides an extremely light weight solution capable of conforming to uneven or asymmetrical surfaces and delivering full radial stability and exceptional torsional strength.
Applications
High temperature applications where there is a requirement for tough and durable protection of wires, wire harnesses, cable assemblies, flat ribbon cables, tubes and hoses.
The material is ideal for use in the aerospace and military markets, but also has many other potential high-tech applications.
