Description
PPS-KBS braided sleeving is constructed from a Kevlar™ fiber yarn that is up to 20x stronger than a steel wire of the same diameter. This product provides excellent resistance to heat and chemicals and also offers outstanding tensile strength and thermal stability making it ideal for use in harsh environments.
Applications
Kevlar™ material is widely used in military applications for bullet proof vests, due to its formidable tensile strength. These properties can also be useful for the protection of cable hoses and wire harnesses in vehicles, marine and aerospace applications. PPS-KBS is designed for use in all harsh environments and ruggedized applications.
